Tableside steak tartare in Seville

Steak tartare is won or lost on the seasoning: a touch of mustard, one of capers, the right yolk. Preparing it at the table in front of the guest is the only way to get it exactly how you want it.

Tableside steak tartare in Seville
✓

Knife-cut, never machine-minced

✓

Seasoned at your table to your taste

✓

Ideal as a starter before pasta

✓

Quality beef, prepared to order

Knife-cut, seasoned in plain sight

Rather than serving an already-mixed mound, the tartare is finished at the table: the sirloin is knife-cut and seasoned in front of you, adjusting mustard, capers, spring onion and Worcestershire sauce to your taste. It is a dish for people who enjoy watching it made.

A starter to open the meal

Because of its character, the tartare works very well as a starter before a fresh pasta or a tagliata. If you like your beef rare with a sharp edge, this is the best way to begin.

We recommend booking, especially in high season: weekends, bank holidays and the Seville spring fill the room. If you come without a booking, we will tell you honestly whether there is a table or how long the wait is.

We make fresh pasta every morning in our own kitchen and prove our pizza dough for 48 hours, which gives a light, easy-to-digest crust. We work with Caputo 00 flour, mozzarella di bufala DOP, 24-month prosciutto di Parma and extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany, imported directly: no frozen pasta, no pre-made pizza and no shortcuts. That is the difference between an Italian dish and a dish that is merely named Italian.

Can I choose the mustard or heat level?

Yes — that is exactly why it is made at the table: it is adjusted to your taste on the spot.

At San Marco we cook Italian the way it is cooked at home: fresh pasta made daily, dough proved for 48 hours and family recipes we have never changed. We have been next to the Plaza de España since 1994, with two daily services and options for almost any taste or need.
