Homemade tiramisu in Seville

There is gelateria tiramisu and there is homemade tiramisu. Ours is built with mascarpone and espresso, no shortcuts, and has been on the menu since we opened. It is called della nonna for a reason.

Homemade tiramisu in Seville

Made in house with mascarpone and espresso

✓

A family recipe since 1994

✓

On the menu at €6.50

Alternatives: panna cotta and cannoli

Grandmother’s recipe

Layers of sponge soaked in coffee, mascarpone cream and cocoa on top. No cream, no gelatine, and the coffee at the right strength: that is what makes it taste like home rather than an industrial dessert. It costs €6.50.

The natural end to an Italian meal

After fresh pasta or pizza, tiramisu is the logical finish. If you want something lighter, there is panna cotta ai frutti rossi (€5.90) or cannoli siciliani (€6.50).

Preguntas frecuentes

Resolvemos las dudas más habituales.

Does the tiramisu contain alcohol?

Our classic recipe relies on coffee; if you have an allergy or a preference, ask us for the exact ingredients.

Our classics are fresh pasta —carbonara romana, tagliatelle alla bolognese, ricotta and spinach ravioli, lasagna della casa— and sourdough pizzas with 48 hours of fermentation, with the Pizza Tonnara and the Margherita DOP among the most ordered. Everything is made in house daily, with produce imported from Italy and no shortcuts.

As a guide to prices, la Carbonara romana costs €12.50; la Lasagna della casa costs €13.50; el Tiramisú della nonna costs €5.50; la Burrata pugliese costs €16.50. The menu sits in the mid range (€€) and the full list with every dish and price is always on our menu page. We keep the prices in the menu and in our structured data in sync with the same source, so what you read is what you pay.

You will find us at Calle Dr. Pedro de Castro, 1, 41004 Sevilla, a short walk from the Plaza de España and the historic centre. The bus stop is right at the door and there is a public car park about 50 metres away, so arriving by car or public transport is easy. On foot, the landmark is simple: once you reach the Plaza de España, we are a short stroll along Dr. Pedro de Castro street. We are open every day, lunch 13:00–16:00 and dinner 20:00–23:30. Can I order it to take away?

Ask us — desserts are served in the dining room, but for celebrations we can look at options.

At San Marco we cook Italian the way it is cooked at home: fresh pasta made daily, dough proved for 48 hours and family recipes we have never changed. We have been next to the Plaza de España since 1994, with two daily services and options for almost any taste or need.

Do you have a gluten-free dessert?

Tell us and we will point you to the desserts on the menu that suit that need best.

We have gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan dishes on the menu, and we also adapt recipes when you let us know. The best thing is to tell us when you book: that way the kitchen prepares your dish with a separate protocol and can suggest alternatives within what you fancy. If you have a specific allergy, mention it and we will go through it dish by dish with you.
