Eating on a terrace by Plaza de España is half the Seville experience, but not all terraces are equal: the difference between a good lunch and overheating comes down to shade and timing.

What to ask before you sit down

First, whether there is shade at the hour you are going (it changes completely between 13:00 and 15:00). Second, whether the terrace faces traffic. Third, whether you can book: in most terraces in the area, you cannot.

What our terrace is like

Ours is two minutes from the plaza, with shade at midday and good light as the afternoon drops. It serves the full menu — not just snacks — and you can request a terrace table when you book.

The best time of day

For lunch, the first sitting (13:00). For dinner, from 20:30, when the heat eases. In high season the terrace fills before the dining room, so here the advice to book is serious.

Resolvemos las dudas más habituales.

What is the best time to eat on a terrace without the heat?

The first lunch sitting (13:00) or the evening from 20:30. At 14:00–15:00 in summer, the heat bites.

We have a terrace for eating or dining outdoors, very pleasant in Seville's good season. If you want an outside table, ask when you book and we will do our best to assign you one; in high season the terrace fills before the dining room, so booking ahead works in your favour. If the weather turns, we will move you inside without any problem.

As a guide to prices, la Carbonara romana costs €12.50; la Lasagna della casa costs €13.50; el Tiramisú della nonna costs €5.50; la Burrata pugliese costs €16.50. The menu sits in the mid range (€€) and the full list with every dish and price is always on our menu page. We keep the prices in the menu and in our structured data in sync with the same source, so what you read is what you pay.

Come and see us: Calle Dr. Pedro de Castro, 1, 41004 Sevilla. Lunch 13:00–16:00, dinner 20:00–23:30, every day of the week.

We make fresh pasta every morning in our own kitchen and prove our pizza dough for 48 hours, which gives a light, easy-to-digest crust. We work with Caputo 00 flour, mozzarella di bufala DOP, 24-month prosciutto di Parma and extra virgin olive oil from Tuscany, imported directly: no frozen pasta, no pre-made pizza and no shortcuts. That is the difference between an Italian dish and a dish that is merely named Italian.

Can you book the terrace?

In our case yes, by asking when you reserve. Many terraces in the area do not take bookings.

We recommend booking, especially in high season: weekends, bank holidays and the Seville spring fill the room. When you book you choose day, time and party size, and you get a confirmation with a reference you can change or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before. If you come without a booking, we will tell you honestly whether there is a table or how long the wait is.

Do terraces only serve snacks?

It depends on the place. Ours serves the full menu: pasta, pizza and desserts.
