Tourist restaurant in Seville

Eating well while visiting Seville usually runs into the same problem: you end up in a place on the tourist circuit, with a separate menu and an inflated price. San Marco is the opposite — a real Italian restaurant in the centre, two minutes from Plaza de España, with the same menu and the same prices for everyone.

In the centre, two minutes from Plaza de España

We are at Calle Dr. Pedro de Castro, 1 (41004 Seville), a short walk from Plaza de España and the old town. This is the area you visit from: the Cathedral and Giralda, the Real Alcázar, the Santa Cruz quarter and María Luisa Park are all within walking distance. The bus stop is at the door and there is a public car park about 50 metres away if you have a rental car.

The same menu for everyone, with hours that fit a visit

We serve a real Italian menu — fresh pasta made each morning, sourdough pizza with a 48-hour ferment and homemade desserts — and not an exclusive visitor menu. Our hours are the same every day: lunch from 1pm to 4pm and dinner from 8pm to 11:30pm, so you can eat before or after your sightseeing without being tied to a set sitting.

No surprises: published prices and real Italian food

We apply the same menu and the same prices to locals and visitors alike, with prices shown on the menu and in the group menus (€33.50 to €52.00 per person, VAT and the listed drinks included). The Italian cooking is not a tourist hook — it is what we have been doing since 1994, beside Plaza de España.

Preguntas frecuentes

Resolvemos las dudas más habituales.

Is this a tourist restaurant with tourist prices?

It is a real Italian restaurant, open since 1994 beside Plaza de España. We apply the same menu and the same published prices to everyone, with no visitor-only menu or surcharge for being from out of town.

At San Marco we cook Italian the way it is cooked at home: fresh pasta made daily, dough proved for 48 hours and family recipes we have never changed. We have been next to the Plaza de España since 1994, with two daily services and options for almost any taste or need.

If you prefer to talk to us, call +34 954 41 87 60 or +34 661 07 26 88. If writing is easier, the booking address is reservas@restaurantesevillasanmarco.com. Booking online gives you instant confirmation with a reference that acts as proof of your day, time and party size; if anything changes, that reference lets us find your table in seconds. We open daily from 13:00 to 16:00 and from 20:00 to 23:30, right by the Plaza de España.

We are open every day of the week with two services: lunch from 13:00 to 16:00 and dinner from 20:00 to 23:30. Keeping both services on Sunday too means you can eat at midday or in the evening without depending on a single sitting, which is exactly what visitors to Seville need when planning their day. Early lunch before a guided tour or late dinner after a show both fit comfortably.

Where are you and how do we get there from the sights?

We are at Calle Dr. Pedro de Castro, 1 (41004 Seville), a two-minute walk from Plaza de España. The Cathedral, the Real Alcázar, the Santa Cruz quarter and María Luisa Park are all a short walk away. The bus stop is at the door and there is a public car park about 50 metres away.

To give you an idea of where we are: the Plaza de España is a short walk away, and other points in the historic centre such as the Cathedral, the Royal Alcázar or the Santa Cruz quarter are all reachable on comfortable city walks. You do not need a car to move around this area. If you come by car, the public car park is about 50 metres away and the bus stop is right at the door.

This is a very convenient area to eat: you are next to the Plaza de España and a step from the centre, so you can combine the visit with your meal without losing time travelling. Instead of falling for the first tourist menu you find, it is worth booking a place with its own kitchen, like this one, where the produce and the cooking show in the dish.

As a guide to prices, la Carbonara romana costs €12.50; la Lasagna della casa costs €13.50; el Tiramisú della nonna costs €5.50; la Burrata pugliese costs €16.50. The menu sits in the mid range (€€) and the full list with every dish and price is always on our menu page. We keep the prices in the menu and in our structured data in sync with the same source, so what you read is what you pay.

What are your hours for lunch during a visit?

The same every day: lunch from 1pm to 4pm and dinner from 8pm to 11:30pm. You can eat before or after sightseeing without being tied to a set sitting.

Our hours are the same every day: lunch from 13:00 to 16:00 and dinner from 20:00 to 23:30. Having two services means you can pick the moment that suits you best, whether that is an early lunch before continuing your visit or a relaxed dinner. The kitchen runs from those times, which is why we ask you to be punctual for your booked slot.

Can we book a table if we are a few people?

Yes. You can book online for your group size. For groups of 10 or more we work with a set menu, at the same price per person as everyone else, and the room is booked on request.

We recommend booking, especially in high season: weekends, bank holidays and the Seville spring fill the room. When you book you choose day, time and party size, and you get a confirmation with a reference you can change or cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before. If you come without a booking, we will tell you honestly whether there is a table or how long the wait is.
